I read several reviews here of people having the same problem, so I felt
like discussing it in case anyone buys this TV and has the exact same
problem. I experienced this on the UN46F6300 46-inch model, but I'd
imagine it is not much different for other sizes.

When you first try to screw together the base, it will feel like the screws don't fit. There are a lot of reviews of people calling customer service that the wrong screws were shipped or that it has the wrong base. The fact is, the screws are a VERY tight fit - so much that the plastic probably deforms a bit as the screw goes in. Get a good screwdriver and apply a lot of torque. It'll go in.

The screws that attach the base to the TV are not nearly as tight, but they still need a decent amount of torque as well.

I haven't tried removing them (and it will probably be a challenge), but
I'll tell you that base is nice and stable once you get it together. As
far as the rest of the TV installation and the TV itself, it's been
wonderful. Great picture, sleek interface, good apps/features.

TLDR: The screws will feel like they are too large for the holes.
They're the right size, but they are just a very tight fit and take a
lot of torque.
